The long sweeping drive has ample parking for everyone and surrounds the vast lawn dominated by the two hundred year old sycamore sitting in the centre.
Passing over the wide front terrace and entering the large double oak doors takes you into the spacious hallway with the oak staircase rising to the second floor. At the top of the staircase is a reception area with 3 sofas, having space for the different ages in your group or even just as a quiet space contemplating the amazing view over the front lawn.
On the ground floor, the large, stylish dining kitchen, the hub of the house, is well equipped for big family gatherings. The dining table seats 16 and there are extra seats if your group is a little larger. Off the kitchen is a terrace with plenty of social seating for large groups and this leads down a few steps to a secure garden.
Whilst the front terrace benefits from the morning sun, the side terrace captures the sun after lunch and in the evenings so is lovely for relaxing sunny afternoons, al fresco dining and pre dinner drinks whilst, hopefully, someone else is doing the cooking, although due to the layout, every one can join in with the cooking and still be part of everything.
As the evening chill comes in, you can retire to the drawing room with it’s warming log fire and 3 cosy sofas for that precious after dinner family time, whether you’re playing board games or just relaxing in front of the fire curled up to watch a film or sharing the latest news over a few drinks with friends and family.
Completing the ground floor is a further sitting room with 2 sofas, a downstairs cloakroom and a utility / boot room with washing machine and an extra fridge for keeping those all important drinks cool and just outside the utility door is a 5 person hot tub.
